Histopathology Various body tissues, including biopsies & specimens are processed to study the changes seen in the tissues occurring due to any disease, benign, malignant or infectious. Cytopathology We do both aspiration cytology & exfoliative cytology. Aspiration cytology is done by performing FNAC’s & guided FNAC’s of lymph nodes, thyroid gland & other swellings. Biochemistry Fully automated clinical chemistry analysers are used for faster turn around time with backup facility. Routine & analytical biochemistry tests are used for cardiovascular diseases, renal disorders, liver disorders, nutritional disorders etc. Microbiology Microbiology processing is done on fully automated equipments like Bact/ALERT 3D & VITEK 2 Compact 60 with a much faster turn around time. Haematology The branch of haematology includes the complete study of blood cells for the diagnosis of haematological diseases like anaemias, Leukemias, Thalassemias / haemoglobinopathies & coagulation disorders.
